Andrew Jackson Equestrian Statue - Tennessee State Capitol

This equestrian statue of Andrew Jackson is located on the grounds of the Tennessee State Capitol in Nashville. Jackson lived at his Hermitage Estate just outside Nashville and was a U.S. Representative and Senator representing Tennessee. This statue was dedicated in 1880. It is one of four identical statues sculpted by Clark Mills. The others are located in: Washington, DC, Jacksonville, Florida and New Orleans, Louisiana.
