George Washington's Birthday is a Federal Holiday celebrated on the third Monday in February, although many states, retailers, and others refer to the holiday as Presidents Day. Washington's Birthday will next be celebrated on February 17, 2025. The holiday originally was designed to honor George Washington but has developed to what is now commonly known as Presidents Day.
